Each pair is made with your choice of post- Friction or Threaded. Friction posts are easy to wear, they are the type of posts you most commonly see used on earrings. Threaded posts are a more secure option as they have threading going down a section of the post, allowing the backs to be securely held in place. I always recommend threaded posts to those who are active, as they do a better job of keeping your earrings in place.
