About this Piece
Part of our new From Forests to Arches collection, this stunning pair of earrings features 2 ovular hessonite garnets that are bezel set in 935 Argentium Sterling Silver. Descending the stones is a small arrangement of 3 sterling pebbles that feeds into the pointed cathedral design below. The shape is reminiscent of a cathedral window, inside the window is a hand applied texture I like to call stardust. Each stardust texture is hand applied and set with a torch; each texture is unique to the earring to which it is applied. Both earrings were individually cut and soldered from sterling silver sheet. The design is based on an original image I drew in my sketchbook. This is a single-made design that will not be duplicated, giving you a rarity for your collection.
Looking for a matching ring or cuff? Check out the Stardust Stacking rings or the Stardust cuff, both options feature the same stardust texture found in these earrings.

About Skölland
Skölland is a one-woman jewelry studio in Door County, Wisconsin. Every piece is made by hand - either carved in wax or fabricated, cast in precious metal, and finished at my bench. For one-of-a-kind work, the mold is destroyed after a single casting. What you hold will not be made again.I work in argentium silver and in solid gold from 10K to 18K, drawing from mythology, celestial imagery, and the darker corners of folklore to create jewelry that carries meaning beyond its materials.
