This ring features a natural sphene, this stone is polished in some areas and rough in others, it has cold enamel added to the roughened areas for an artistic effect. Because of this, do not clean this piece in an ultrasonic or with steam. Sphene is a softer stone, so we don't recommend using this ring for an engagement or wedding band, but it makes an excellent cocktail ring for those looking for a relic aesthetic. If you need to clean it-use non abrasive soap and wash it gently by hand.
