Night Sky Silver Stardust Ring

Inspired by the starry skies above this ring is individually handcrafted from a 940 argentium sterling silver.  The texture of these bands is individually applied by hand using the technique of fusing, this results in each ring having their own unique texture. Each one will look similar, but none will ever exactly be the same. (Just like the stars in the sky) Most describe the texture on these rings as lightly bumpy & rippled. Great for someone who might like to fidget or stim with their rings. This texture is finished with a dark patina, to give it a nice amount of depth, contrast & dimension. The patina used is semi-permanent, since there are no permanent patinas this darkened effect will eventually fade over time.  The patina can be easily reapplied in the future upon request.

 Ring Dimensions & Details:

  • Designed & crafted in my home studio from 940 argentium silver - a superior sterling alloy that outperforms traditional 925 sterling in durability & tarnish resistance. Arrives hallmarked as 940

  • The band is 3.5mm wide x 1.75mm thick. Each band has a lightly domed shape, and its own texture that I call “stardust”.

  • Features a dark patina for contrast, depth & dimension.

  • The textured band that is reminiscent of the night sky
  • Arrives in a branded gift box, ready for gift giving.

For pieces with an Antique Finish- We suggest preserving the antiqued look by steering clear of water, harsh substances, or rough materials. Particularly, refrain from exposure to bleach as it not only weakens metals, but will also instantly darken sterling silver due to its oxidizing properties.

Avoid contact with harsh chemicals, and remove while performing strenuous activities. Remember to promptly dry after contact with water to prevent the onset of water spots or contact dermatitis.
