Produktinformation
A 1.8mm stacking band in solid 14K gold — and the closest I've come to making something feel gentle without losing its edge.
There are no molds of this piece, I make each one to order using the same technique so no two pieces will look identical — each will have their own textural nuances. Each ring carries its own version of the aftermath.
The first piece from the Aftermath collection.
Aftermath is a body of work born from a vision — a woman running from something catastrophic, caught in something far beyond her control. The collection lives in the moment after everything falls apart, before you know what's left. The texture on this band is meant to read as rubble or torn up ground. Essentially, what remains after the shockwave passes.
Darling Desolation is the softer presence in that story. Wearable every day, designed to feel like a quiet companion. It stacks with itself, with its more unyielding sister Absolute Desolation, and intuitively with the Aftermath ring.
Want it made to fit alongside one of your existing bands? Custom contouring is available upon request — reach out via email to discuss.
Each piece is individually made to order in your size and metal choice in my Wisconsin studio.

What Collectors Are Saying
Every review is from a verified Skölland customer.
About Skölland
Skölland is a one-woman jewelry studio in Door County, Wisconsin. Every piece is made by hand - either carved in wax or fabricated, cast in precious metal, and finished at my bench. For one-of-a-kind work, the mold is destroyed after a single casting. What you hold will not be made again.I work in argentium silver and in solid gold from 10K to 18K, drawing from mythology, celestial imagery, and the darker corners of folklore to create jewelry that carries meaning beyond its materials.
